Gaudium Serves at MLK Day Service Project

5th Annual MLK Day of Service

On Monday, January 21st, 15 members of Gaudium Youth Group were joined by parents and our Youth Minister at City Year Miami’s 5th Annual MLK Day of Service at Madison Middle School in West Little River. Over 900 volunteers came together for “A day on, not a day off” to give back to our community, commemorating the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King: “Everybody can be great because anyone can serve.” The Gaudium volunteers helped paint four new murals on one of the school buildings - one of twenty concurrent service projects to help beautify the school campus. Thank you to all who came out to volunteer and congratulations on a job well done! The murals truly are spectacular!
